The site is run by Sam Dyson, trading as Bristol Voiceover Studio, The Old Malthouse, Little Ann Street, Bristol BS2 9EB. We are not VAT registered.
Quotes and calculators
The project calculator, the quote we email you and any prices on this site are estimates to help you plan. They are not an offer. A booking is only confirmed when we agree it with you in writing. No VAT is added to our prices or quotes, as we are not VAT registered. Extras that are not in the estimate, such as pickups, file prep and editing, or large file transfers, may be added to a final quote.
Audiobook length is estimated from the average of 9,300 words per finished hour. Real length depends on the narrator’s pace.
Our content
The text, design and photographs on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking.
Names, logos, book covers and recordings of other companies and authors belong to them. We show them only to describe work we have done and they do not mean those companies endorse us.
Links
We link to other websites for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they use your information.
Liability
We take care to keep the site accurate and working, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not liable for loss that comes from relying on information on the site or from using it, except where the law does not allow us to limit liability. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you keep any rights you have to use your local courts.
